This mother of three started her art career when she retired as a
recovery room nurse. Peggy Joyce studied with John McClusky, and she
attended workshops with Charlotte Curry and Albert Faggard working in
acrylic and oil. She loves to paint landscapes, portraits and any other
subject that “speaks to her”. Peggy Joyce is a colorist, and strives to
be in tune with her subject to convey the emotion and mood that
initially attracts her when she starts each one of her projects. She
also paints from photos and works for commissions with an equal fervor
to capture these same qualities.
