Jan competed in the Nepenthe
Mundi Society's international competition, the Emerald City Classic.
She placed first
in conceptual art in 1985 and fourth in 1987. She is also on
their laureates list. She has works featured in the Vatican,
the Mexican-American Cultural Center in San Antonio, and other
galleries. Her love of arts also includes poetry, where she
can be found in the International Hall of Poets.
She has been both student and teacher and has been a member of the
Fredericksburg Art Guild for 20 years.
