Bonnie Bondurant's art career began in New York City as a promotion manager and illustrator for McGraw-Hill Publications. Her commercial career was put on hold while raising three children. When her family moved to Texas, she became interested in the decorative arts and began attending workshops in the decorative painting and fine arts fields. Working with interior decorators, she began her mural business in 1985 with clients in the Houston and Austin areas. When Bonnie and her husband retired to Fredericksburg, Texas, she continued doing murals in the Hill Country, and taught decorative painting in her studio.

Bonnie is a member of KACC, Die Kunstler von Fredericksburg and the Fredericksburg Art Guild. She has combined her decorative painting and fine arts skills in order to bring her own artistic style to her paintings.
