The Fredericksburg Art Guild was organized in 1971 by international artist, John McClusky. A non-profit status was obtained in 1981. The purpose of the Guild is to educate, encourage, promote, and cultivate the arts throughout the Texas Hill Country.

Over the years the Fredericksburg Art Guild has evolved into a working Artist Studio/Gallery. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to watch for special events and classes.
